Reflection of the improve
I’m very glad that I chose Spring improve as my activity. This is a totally new experience for me and a lot of the members in our cast. When we first started to rehearse, I didn’t feel like rehearsing at all. The rehearsals seemed like games and I was just having fun during those games. However, as we get closer and closer to the day of the actual show, I noticed something has changed. I thought we just need to work hard to show the creativity of ourselves as individuals. But what’s really important is the interactions among us, the cast members. It’s not only about showing people who great I am, standing out from the rest of the group. It’s about how we work with each other to create interesting scene together. We have to give trust to each other and provide information that our teammates can catch and build on to it. Another thing that’s really important is to always say “Yes” to whatever your peer says. In improve, lots things don’t go as the way it usually is in our lives. And when...
