Post on your blog what you have been working on, how it's going, what else you need to do to improve your project -- 300 words. Prepare to present your ideas in class as well. My group had been focusing on the songs, both the composing and the acting part. We had been discussing about the emotions that the characters wanted to convey by singing the song in order to compose music that will help show the emotion. At the same time, we are composing most of the lyrics for our character's songs. Since we are done with designing the lighting, props and customs, we are now trying to polish our acting and singing so that we can run through everything several times before the actual performance. The things we are still looking forward to working on are the singing. Because our songs not only contain solos, but also duet parts, we do need to practice them repeatedly in order to perform it well on stage.
