Evaluation of the written course work last year

Julia:

Literary analysis: 5
Performance: 10
Conclusion: 4

Sam:

Literary analysis: 5
Performance: 8
Conclusion: 5

Julia's literary analysis is very well-written because she supported her ideas with examples and actual quotes in the script. She also used the quotes from the early part of the play to compare with the part that she's acting to bring out a clear difference on Romeo. Her explanation of the actual performance was very good as well. She explained the details of her performance and the intentions of those details. The conclusion part was kind of short because she spent too many words explaining her performance. Overall, this example is amazing.

Sam did a really good job explaining her feelings of being Juliet and how she felt before/after playing the character of Juliet. However, the word "foreshadowing" was mentioned too many times. It was nice to see it in the beginning for several times to feel the highlighting. However, after seeing it for so many times, it kind of made the essay feel "flat". It was also a really nice essay! I wish I could write things like those.
