I like it, but...
I don’t really have a specific favorite thing. And I don’t know if I should feel happy or feel sad about it. I always struggle between two or more things and I sometimes just chose not to define which one is my favorite. Here is the thing. I don’t understand how can people just say my favorite food is blah blah without thinking twice.
For me, the struggle begins once I have heard the question. “Ok, let me think. Oh! I’ve got one! I like avocado! Everyone loves avocado! Who doesn't love avocado? But the hot pot place I went yesterday was sooooo good too! The taste of the meat was fantastic! I even left the common on their web page saying ‘to die for!”. Oh yeah, hot pot is the best. But wait, after the hot pot, I also went to the ice cream shop and ate the strawberry ice cream. Ahhhhh I can still feel the smooth as I say the word strawberry ice-cream! No, I can’t keep thinking. So should I tell her I like avocado or hot pot or strawberry ice cream? OMG, this question is just so hard! Why does she have to ask me about this? Can I just shout to her ‘I hate you’? No, I have to be nice to others. Even I know deep inside I’m not nice at all but I just have to be nice and polite for now. Ok, here we go.“ “Honestly, I really don’t want to say this. But as your friend, I just have to tell you, that’s so rude of you for asking other such a question. That requires too much thinking. You should really be more considering.”
